George Moibi Mose

Moibi is a Co-founder and Partner at Meritad Law Africa LLP with over Twenty years of experience in legal practice. Moibi is a dynamic legal practitioner offering invaluable service to his clientele who comprise corporations, local and international, on matters pertaining to compliance and government relations.

Moibi has lent his expertise to notable banks and financial institutions such as KCB Bank Kenya Limited, Equity Bank (Kenya) Limited and National Bank, playing a role in the perfection of securities and debt recovery.

He has also undertaken various mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring. Moibi’s passion for technology is key in driving the digital disruption agenda within the legal environment and this has seen him work closely with various entities in an effort to shape the next phase of the practice.

Moibi served as a board member of the Capital Markets Authority for over 4 years until the end of his term in the year 2021. He has offered training and is certified in Corporate Governance, Organization strategy, Development, and Parastatal Management, as well as Risk Management. A founding member of the Justice Cup, Moibi also enjoys playing and watching football, listening to music and playing chess.
